Brawl Roster

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

No matter how much I strove to keep myself from finding out Brawl's hidden characters, there was no escaping it. I wanted to earn them all on my own, but once you start looking at images... you just think, "Well, I've looked at one. Might as well look at the rest." I now know most of the hidden characters. Rats. If you don't want to know, don't scroll down. There's a big picture and everything.
I'll fill the void with this interesting factoid: This blog is definitely out there in CyberSpace. I searched "Maybe a Starbucks" on GoogleBlogs and the first thing I see is:

Cool!

OK. Now the important thing. Brawl's list of venerable characters.

Well, formerly unannounced Brawlers here include Luigi, Falco, Marth, Mr. Game and Watch, Ganondorf, Lucario, Ness, Young Wind Waker Link, R. O. B., Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff.
- Happy to see returning: Luigi, Mr. Game and Watch, Jigglypuff
- Unhappy to see returning: Marth and Ness. Marth will be just like Ike. Ness will be just like Lucas.
- Completely Neutral Towards: Ganondorf, Falco, Captain Falcon, Young Wind Waker Link
- Very Curious About: Lucario, R. O. B. Particularly R. O. B. - that's gotta be one very different move set.

Smash Bros. on Virtual Console?

Monday, January 21st, 2008

Before Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (or whatever that was called) came out, Metroid came out on Wii's Virtual Console. Before Super Paper Mario came out, Paper Mario came out on Wii's Virtual Console. Before Super Mario Galaxy came out, Super Mario Bros. 3 came out on Wii's Virtual Console.
Now Nintendo Power magazine says it's possible that N64's Super Smash Bros. could come out before Brawl. I'll be so overwhelmed in Mid-March going back and forth between the classic familiar Super Smash Bros. and the new exciting Super Smash Bros. Brawl! Heehee... Melee... caught in the middle... the overlooked middle child, if you will.

It's Finally Happened

I had Starbucks for the first time today. Isn't it odd that my blog is called "Maybe a Starbucks" but I've only had Starbucks once?
I had a Double Chocolaty Chip Frappucino and a Rainbow Cookie. I think they put fruit in the Rainbow Cookie... it wasn't so good. But the coffee was adequate.
All in all, I give my Starbucks experience a 6 out of 10.

Speaking of ratings, Famitsu magazine game Super Smash Bros. Brawl a 40/40. That's only happened six other times in the history of Famitsu.

Thank you for visiting Maybe a Starbucks.
