Brawl Screens

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

I have taken several Brawl screens and saved them to my SD Card. I will now be occasionally uploading them to my blog when nothing else is happening and I feel I need to blog. Here's the first:

This is one of my favorites. It looks to me like R. O. B. is having a system meltdown. It's enhanced by the fact that he's on fire (from a PK Fire to be exact) and he's holding a Super Scope, but the Super Scope looks more like one of his limbs fell off.

I am a True Brawler

I have now unlocked all the hidden characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Unlocking Wolf gives you a whole bonanza of prizes. First of all you get Wolf, obviously, but you also unlock Events 29-40, All-Star Mode, some music that I didn't pay much attention to, and a congratulatory note that tells you that the Brawl is now really just starting.
I played as Wolf once. He's nothing special. Every character has a different feel (for the most part). Bowser feels heavy. Ganondorf feels slow. Sonic feels fast. Jigglypuff feels light. Wolf feels hollow. It's strange...

The Brawl Stage for Your Every "Mood"

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

Still wish you were playing Twilight Princess? Head over to the Bridge of Eldin stage, lifted directly from the game. Even features a cameo by King Bulbin.
Sick of winter? Delfino Plaza is the stage for you. Set primarily on a beach or hovering over a beautiful watery landscape, this stage is the cure for your cabin fever.
Can't wait for Mario Kart Wii? Sure, everyone got hyped for Brawl's release, but Mario Kart Wii is just around the corner. To satiate that desire to race, go to the Mario Circuit stage.
Feeling nostalgic? There are plenty of stages to feed this want, most prominently the Mushroomy Kingdom (a side-scrolling recreation of the original Super Mario Bros.) and Mario Bros. (a recreation of the very first appearance of Mario.)
Too cheap to buy a Nintendo DS? The PictoChat stage is the one for you.
Cold? The fiery Norfair stage should bring warmth, even if it's just in your head.
Warm? The icy Summit stage should cool you off, even if it's just in your head.
