Smash Bros. on Virtual Console?

Monday, January 21st, 2008

Before Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (or whatever that was called) came out, Metroid came out on Wii's Virtual Console. Before Super Paper Mario came out, Paper Mario came out on Wii's Virtual Console. Before Super Mario Galaxy came out, Super Mario Bros. 3 came out on Wii's Virtual Console.
Now Nintendo Power magazine says it's possible that N64's Super Smash Bros. could come out before Brawl. I'll be so overwhelmed in Mid-March going back and forth between the classic familiar Super Smash Bros. and the new exciting Super Smash Bros. Brawl! Heehee... Melee... caught in the middle... the overlooked middle child, if you will.

It's Finally Happened

I had Starbucks for the first time today. Isn't it odd that my blog is called "Maybe a Starbucks" but I've only had Starbucks once?
I had a Double Chocolaty Chip Frappucino and a Rainbow Cookie. I think they put fruit in the Rainbow Cookie... it wasn't so good. But the coffee was adequate.
All in all, I give my Starbucks experience a 6 out of 10.

Speaking of ratings, Famitsu magazine game Super Smash Bros. Brawl a 40/40. That's only happened six other times in the history of Famitsu.

Brawl's Third Delay

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

The nerve of those Nintendo geniuses! This Notice appeared on the official page this morning:

First they moved it from March 30, 2007, to December 3, 2007. Then from that to February 10, 2008. And now they've moved it to March 9th?!?
I understand wanting to perfect the game, but this is ridiculous. How much perfecting could they possibly have done if they were original going to release it nearly a year ago? Or how crappy was it a year ago?
I think this may be an early April's Fool Joke. The Dojo started in late May last year, and it (should) end February 10. There's no April in there, so I thought maybe they're doing it now...
I always joked that they'd delay it again, but... boo hoo.
With all this delaying, there's one thing I really hope they have: Miis as playable characters. They've been in some games: Wii Sports, Wii Fit. And they're gonna be in more games: Wii Fit, Wii Music. There were only two Pikmin games and yet Olimar's in there. Uploadable Miis would be the tops.

Thank you for visiting Maybe a Starbucks.
