Spoiler Alert!

Thursday, September 27th, 2007

I don't know how many of you saw the Office, but I thought it was (like most premieres) strongly depressing... and very, very, very unsettling. Meredith's face when Michael... ugh! Pam walking in on Michael... ugh! Andy during the race... ugh! Michael vomiting... ugh! Dwight freezing a cat alive... ugh! Jim without a shirt... ugh! No Mose... ugh! I hope all the episodes this year aren't like that. I won't stop watching thanks to Kevin... comic relief, but still, that was a pretty disgusting (and hilarious, don't get me wrong) episode.

Brawl to Support Internet Play

Thursday, September 20th, 2007

It wasn't for sure that Brawl would have Wi-Fi Play but yesterday it was officially announced on the official homepage. You can either play against people with whom you have exchanged your Wii Friend Code... or if none of your friends want to buy Brawl you can play anonymously world wide. We'll finally be able to see how we rank on an international scale. I know I'm good at Melee, but how good am I compared to the rest of the people in the world? Man, I can't wait to find out.

Limerick/Haiku Contest

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

I mentioned in an earlier post about the winners of a fanpop.com. At the time there were no winners but now there are. It wasn't me... :#(

The winning entry in the haiku contest:

Phone ringing all day
“Dunder Mifflin, this is Pam”
Minesweeper is bliss

Not bad.

Here's my (best, in my opinion. I posted a few.) haiku:

At Nine-Eight Central
September Twenty-Seventh
Big Office Premiere

The winner of the limerick contest:

There once was a man named Andy,
His ties were always quite dandy,
But then one day,
He went astray,
Anger Management proves handy!

Okay, it's not bad, but it ain't great. It was definitely one of the best, but the winner... sure, maybe, I suppose.

My (best) limerick:

There once was a prankster named Jim
Pam Beasly’s the girl for him
But, Alas! She’s engaged
So Jim’s love must be caged
The prospects for JAM look grim

I thought it was quite good, but I guess I shouldn't complain... I guess I'll have to buy it myself...

Thank you for visiting Maybe a Starbucks.
