Tomorrow is Flag Day. It is also "Pop Goes the Weasel Day" and "Family History Day."
Father's Day is on Sunday. Sunday is also "Eat Your Veggies Day."
What animal does pepperoni come from? It's the pig, right? Or is it the cow? Or the emu?
TV is way too dramatic these days. I don't watch Lost, but, don't any of those castaways have a cell phone? Gilligan's Island was believable; cell phones didn't exist then. Have you ever heard of Kyle XY? It's about this kid with no belly button. I have a simple explanation to that whole TV series: He had his belly button surgically removed, and during surgery he got amnesia and couldn't remember anything about his life. Comedies don't normally push the envelope on drama, except Full House. They have that sad "touching" music play when Danny gives his girls a talk about not breaking windows. It's still a pretty good show. Seinfeld is a good example of a show that isn't too dramatic. Maybe, that's why it's so great.
